CHECK OUT MAGIC
In true typical Hollywood fashion, as years go by some of its stars has some cosmetic surgery done. . Phat Tuesdays would be no different. It was 2015 and it was 20 years and since this legenarynight had started and a celebration was in order. Phat Tuesdays had already said it's goodbyes in. 2005. One of his neighbors had worked for the entertainment company Golden Voice suggested Phat Tuesdays do anniversary show and that they would co-produce it. A change of scenery and an upgrade from its original home was needed. A face lift. Well the place was in Downtown Los Angeles, also known as DTLA, and the venue would be Club Nokia, now known as The NOVO at LA Live. It's a beautiful 1500 seat venue that would perfect for a celebration. To bring it back for the celebration, Guy had to put a line-up together that was stellar. It had to be bold. It had to be nostalgic. It had to have HUGE names. It had to be some of the FUNNIEST comedians that people wanted to see. It also needed some HEAVY weights in the comedy game. It had to be BIGGER BADDER PHATTER!
GUY TORRY hosted the show and it would an epic night. The sold out and it was huge success and the fans of. Phat Tuesdays wanted more. I t was too great for just one. night.
The show started off with some FIRE. TONY ROCK the comic's comic, was the right kind of energy to get the show where it needed to be, He set the tone and the rest oof the show continued to heat up.
GUY'S brother JOE TORRY, kept that train rolling bringing his DEF COMEDY JAM style of comedy to the PHAT TUESDAYS audience who ate it up like some bomb ass ribs straight off the grill.
OAKLAND'S finest LUENELL brought even more heat showing that women are definitely just as funny as the guys. Let let the guys talk their shit and she represented the ladies point of view and the women had her back like AL COWLINS had OJ SIMPSON'S.
TOMMY DAVIDSON showed his ass and his abs. He put more logs on the fire and brought his "In Living Color" physical comedy on stage and gave the rest of the audience an ab workout with laughter. Everyone
left with their stomachs hurting from laughing hysterically.
LAVELL, The SAINT LOUIS homey capped off the show with a set that was EN FEUGO. It was hotter than stolen pull out radio's in the 90's. He brought the heat that had people crying laughing until the tears rolled down their legs and it still didn't put the fire out.
There's no better way to get a PHOOL PARTY started than a deejay that can blow the roof off a building with the right energy by playing hits that can move a crowd. The MTV "WILD N' OUT" dejay set the tone and ignited the audience like his life depended on it.
The cakes made for the PHAT TUESDAYS shows were just as FIRE as the show. SUGAR RUSH by IIESHA provided the perfect dessert for a night of celebration and laugher. The cupcakes were infused with alcohol and added to buzz the had already provided.
R & B ROYALTY
The first BIGGER BADDER PHATTER PHAT TUESDAYS show was a HUGE success. The second one had a hard act too follow. One anniversary show was not enough. A second show was in high demand so GUY TORRY was not going to disappoint. The line up for PHAT TUESDAYS part deaux was just what the audience needed. It would feature a name you needed to know, a woman who was a movie role away from being an A-Lister, a guy who had already made a name in stand-up. but was showing that he's a force too be reckoned in acting and a comedy legend as a matter of fact, one. of the " KINGS OF COMEDY". In traditional PHAT TUESDAYS fashion, the line-up continued it's mission to have a show with just the right ingredients for a well balanced show. This show not. only brought out some oof the b best comedy fans, but the RED CARPET didn't disappoint either. Just like the first PHAT TUESDAYS anniversary show this was one incredible legendary shoowl
Can he do it again? Of course. It’s about the BRAND. The PHAT TUESDAYS brand is an assignment. The second PT 2.0 was the SHIT! GUY TORRY conducted that audience like they were made to be together. The went smoother than a SADE concert but with shoes on.
Just because you’re GUY TORRY friend and you’re a comic doesn’t guarantee you a spot on the show. STEVE WILSON was one of his guys and an Alumni of the original PHAT TUESDAYS. Because he’s funny earned his way into the line up. His brand of humor and style was the right tone to set up the audience for who came on next.
TIFFANY HADDISH went from trying to sneak in the original PHAT TUESDAYS to KILLING IT on PHAT TUESDAYS 2.0. She grinned and earned her way on the PT 2.0 show. She arrived in animal print and behaved on stage like an uncaged leopard. The audience LOVED her. She mauled them with her wit and hilarious style of stand-up.
DEON COLE was getting even hotter as an artist. Stand-Up and acting. He was another original PHAT TUESDAYS alumni and was already a crowd favorite. Another Chi-Town comic that would have made Bernie Mac and Robin Harris, fellow Chicagoians proud. He was making some noise on the hit sitcom “BLACK-ish” but his stand-up was anything but FUNNY-ish, it was down right full fledge FUNNY!
“DEF COMEDY JAM”, “COMIC VIEW”, HBO, KINGS OF COMEDY” and now PHAT TUESDAYS. It’s because of those shows PHAT TUESDAYS exists. It was an honor to have DL HUGHLEY on the show. He had never done the original PT. To have him RIP the crowd a new ass, what just what the brand needed to REALLY validate it. This was epic.
I’d like to thank DAVE CHAPPELLE for loaning us his deejay, DJ TRAUMA. He brought his own style to the show that got the audience nice and primed for what was about to happen once the comedians grabbed the mic. When the crowd is on a musical high, it makes the comedians jokes cut like butter with a hot knife.
One of the greatest actors of our generation attended this show. Game recognized game. PHAT TUESDAYS is the greatest comedy night ever, so why not have greatness come to greatness. The ageless one graced us with not only her presence and great energy, that smile and class was in full display as well.
There would be no PHAT TUESDAYS without our partners at GOLDEN VOICE providing the venue CLUB NOKIA. I can’t think of a better place to have kicked off the BIGGER BADDER PHATTER PHAT TUESDAYS. They have welcomed us and have been a great team mate. Thank you GOLDEN VOICE this was a great match. Together we are healing PHAT TUESDAYS comedy fans one laugh at a time.
THREE THE HARD WAY
GUY TORRY pulled it off again. The line-up is a mixture of not just friends, but mentors. This show was one that continued to deliver Mike Tyson like punches to the funny bone. Guy would pass the mic like a baton on and Olympic Gold metal Track team. This show was not only a night oof comedy, GUY injected some visual art as well as a surprise visit from his mom who was in town and celebrating her birthdays. GUY TORRY broke a cardinal rule that comedians should never do, he gave up the mic ........ to his mom and she stole the show. She took the mic and a revival broke out. She caught the HOLY GHOST and she blessed the entire audience and start speaking in tongues. The spirit hit her and the only thing missing was a baptising and a collection plate passed around. The white people in the audience hade not clue what had just taken place. The audience left that show full of laughers and the HOLY SPIRIT. It was a night to remember. It just wasn't left on stage, she continued the the anointing backstage for anyone whoo wanted a blessing. That's the beauty of PHAT TUESDAYS, you never who was going to show up. This time it was JESUS.

This was GENE’S first PHAT TUESDAYS of any kind. He entertained the LOS ANGELES audience as if he’d been there before. The PHAT TUESDAYS audience received him well. A new face received some new fans.
What can you say about Melanie? She’s like Amazon she delivers and when it comes you’re happy. Melanie is an Alumni of the original Phat Tuesdays and the show would not have been right without her. As usual, she killed. Nuff Said!
Lil Rel attended the first PHAT TUESDAYS 2.0 and was ready and primed to become part of the line-up. The Chi-Town comedian hit the LA audience with some punchlines that would have made BERNIE MAC buckle over. LA ate him up. #NoDiddy
White Chocolate is what they call him. No not former NBA player Jason Williams, but the comedian Gary Owen. Gary is an original PHAT TUESDAYS alum that had always ripped the show. This show would be no different. He had already built a solid name for himself and the show would be stays quo.
Music is a vibe. To make the audience feel that vibe for a diverse comedy show is a skill. RICO did just that. He had a vibe for everyone and it set the mood for a night that would be another hit in the PHAT TUESDAYS 2.0 history.
PHAT TUESDAYS has always been cutting edge. Always adding something different to an audience. It was tap dancers, singers, poets, and even magicians in the last. This time it was an artist. Like an ARTIST. NICK MCGEE drew for the audience on stage while the DJ spun. It was a welcoming addition.
Before Sports Journalist, TV host and Reality Star and now stand-up comic MIKE HILL became, he tried a few jokes opening the PHAT TUESDAYS show to test the waters. I think he may have gotten bit from the laughs he got there. If this goes well, PHAT TUESDAYS will take ALL the credit. Lol.
THERE ARE 5 DIMES HERE AND 1 PENNY! GUESS WHO'S THE PENNY?
MAMA TORRY CELEBRATED HER BIRTHDAY AT PHAT TUESDAYS and was presented a cake from SUGAR RUSH cakes by IISHA
PHAT TUESDAYS - ST. LOUIS 2023
The demand for PHAT TUESDAYS was high and GUY TORRY’S home town of ST. LOUIS was on the list of those who couldn’t wait. It was time. Guy needed comedians he knew he could count on and that the crowd would love. It would be a TUESDAY night and that could be a challenge. So we thought. The show SOLD OUT and there people who were angry that they couldn’t get in. Guy did so much press, that it made the show hotter than GHOST PEPPERS. The line-up some locals and some DEF COMEDY JAM, COMIC VIEW, and PHAT TUESDAYS alumni’s. It was a line up that more than delivered. The buzz about the hottest comedy show to hit ST LOUIS in a while. This news spread through out the city and even crossed a few state lines. ST LOUIS, wasn’t ready. This wasn’t the typical run of the mill comedy show, it was GUY TORRY’S PHAT TUESDAYS.
GUY TORRY elated to have the chance to bring PHAT TUESDAYS to his hometown of ST. LOUIS. TERRENCE REYNOLDS, one of GUY'S best friends and former booker for the original PHAT TUESDAYS in LOS ANGELES, and the biggest supporters of bringing it to ST. LOUIS was the driving. force. The show would be a huge success and there are more to come.
The local comedy scene in ST LOUIS is populated with some funny comics who are trying to break out. It’s rich in humor and story telling that just needs a break. For this PHAT TUESDAYS show and for that matter all of them. You have to invite some locals to get down. FRANK was CRAZY funny and delivered his set like it was his comedy special. It was just that, special.
You ever see someone on cocaine sweat? It’s as if they ran a marathon in Miami in June. Well that’s COCOA BROWN when she’s on that stage. She’s not on that white horse but she’s going to have the audience HIGH as FUCK as if they were with her comedy. She always delivers. You can count on her no matter where you put her in the line-up. And

She’s not on that white horse but she’s going to have the audience HIGH as FUCK as if they were with her comedy. She always delivers. You can count on her no matter where you put her in the line-up. And they say women aren’t funny, shut yo monkey ass mouth. That’s BULLSHIT!
The CHICAGO guy is well familiar with the crowds in ST LOUIS. You can’t BULLSHIT them. DAMON WILLIAMS knew he had to bring that HEAT and he roasted them like a pig at an Hawaiian luau. It was non stop laughter. By the time the entire show was over, not just the comedians, but the entire crowd was sweating. And was in DECEMBER.
Comedy and Music go hand and hand. Now comedy shows will still survive without music but it won’t be as good. It’s like eating cereal without milk. Not the same. PHAT TUESDAYS is LEGENDARY. So if you’re going to have music, the deejay should be too. That’s why DJ KUTT a STL legend was tapped to joint the comedy party.
AARON REEVES was one of the co-producers of the show and a one of GUY TORRY’S childhood friends. Aaron wanted in on the show. He wanted to address the sponsors and the audience and thank them. BUT! He couldn’t resist trying out a few jokes of his own once he got the mic in his hand. 3 out of 6 worked which is 50%. Thank GOD we had a deejay to get the crowd really ready.
GUY TORRY'S former college friend and PHAT TUESDAYS original booker for the night in LOS ANGELES was the driving force in bringing PHAT TUESDAYS to ST. LOUIS. TERRENCE also appears in the documentary-series. MR. REYNOLDS has been the biggest supporter of PHAT TUESDAYS outside of GUY. He was also a co-producer on the ST. LOUIS show.
The HELIUM COMEDY CLUB in ST. LOUIS was the venue for PHAT TUESDAYS and four a TUESDAY night, they didn't know what hit them. PHAT TUESDAYS was so well received in ST. LOUIS that a second show was discussed. Too have had the show there was great for the area. Although it's a wonderful club, the next PHAT TUESDAYS will have to change venues.

MIC LARRY a local DETROIT comedian is long over due for global recognition. He was a great addition to the PHAT TUESDAYS DETROIT line-up. He had already has his own successful comedy night at ONE MIKE Comedy Club and was nice enough to let PHAT TUESDAYS do a take over for the night. He killed and let them know who he is.
RONI SHANELL has been blazing stage foor a while. I knew exactly what I was going to get from her, non-stop funny. Her high energy along with her high pitched voice gave the hometown girl exactly what they came for, never disappointing and always funny. Check her out whenever you have a chance.
BIG SHORTY is actually SHORT. The BIG must be his jokes because they hit like a wrecking ball. He kicked ooff the show and had that DETROIT flavor. DETROIT knows comedy and they just don't just give it up for anyone, even if they are from the "D". He had just the right seasoning for the hometown crowd.
T BARB is going to give it to you REAL. She is going to tell it like it is and not give AF. This is the right spice for a PHAT TUESDAYS show. Her universal and local jokes went over like a hot knife on soft butter mixed with some jalapeño peppers. Smooth and spicy. Don't let the heels and light skin fool you, she is no punk and will have

LEGENDARY comedian MIKE EPPS has opened great comedy club in DETROIT, MI. The club is located in the downtown area and is a beautiful venue. Giving comedians another comedy club in the city is a fact that DETROIT has very funny comedians and comedy fans to support more than one comedy club or night. Mike has been giving back to his city of INDIANAPOLIS and has now extended that love to DETROIT.
ONE MIKE comedy club is barely 2 years old and already making noise nationwide as a great club. We were honored when they opened their doors and minds to allowing us to host a PHAT TUESDAYS LIVE there. It's a multi-room club as well a restaurant with food that is as satisfying to the belly as the comedy. Good Food. Good People. Good Drink
