Guy Torry had a Phat Tuesdays 55th Birthday for himself in DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES at THE NOVO at LA LIVE. It was star studded and SOLD OUT. The JOKES were flowing and the WOMEN were glowing. It was a spectacular night. Guy hosted and welcomed to the stage, Cedric The Entertainer, Cocoa Brown, DL Hughley and Bubba Dubb with DJ Twinn on the turntables. This show was everything. I had a ball. I LOVE hosting. I love celebrating my birthday with a comedy show for roast. Is life perfect? NO! But we just pray that the good out weighs the bad. I may make this an annual thing. Stay tuned. GOD willing, I'll have a ton more.

EUNICE is the new girl on the scene. A former news anchor on television in BIRMINGHAM moved to HOLLYWOOD to pursue a career in comedy. She's been making some noise and even landed a gig with the "TMZ" TOURS. So I gave her a shot at opening the show.

This was dope. Met this young man through NBA Hall of Fame, GARY PAYTON. Discovered he had no agent, I hooked him up with my agent, (It was GOD who directed me to) a few months later she said put BUBBA on the show. I said you know what, yeah. He FUCKING KILLED. Thank you Jenny Kim.

This comes through for me. He's the homey. ST LOUIS stand up. CED was sick and couldn't make my 50th but he made up for it with this. He came through and set the place on fire. DL like CED is another cat I can count on when the time is right. He came through and continues the comedy bon fire by putting more funny logs soon there and THE FOOL PARTY continued. MY 55TH will be unforgettable. I want at least 55 more of these.

These goes that woman again. COCOA came up after ALL THAT FIRE and poured gasoline on it. Just when you thought the fire would die down, COCOA said, Oh no the FUCK it ain't. She stomped with the BIG DAWGS that night and her BITE was way bigger than her bark. She sunk her teeth in them MF'S.

This was DJ TWINN'S first ride on the PHAT TUESDAYS train. We thank the IMPROV for loaning him to us from his house residency there on Monday nights with DERAY DAVIS. I saw why he's a LEGEND. I knew, but I didn't KNOW. He put some extra SAUCE of that shit. But then again, it was PHAT TUESDAYS.

YES! It was my MF BIRTHDAY. I having the time oof my life. One outfit can't hold me on my BIRTHDAY. I came out in my tuxedo jacket then saw the two KINGS OF COMEDY in sweat suits and I just so happened to have on in my dressing room so I invited myself to the party. Then finished with a third the later two being ADIDAS of course.

The very talented and beautiful ACTRESS, MODEL, SINGER and good friend PORSCHA COLEMAN grabbed the MIC and belted out a HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONG for me. It's not a Birthday without a BIRTHDAY SONG.

It's not a PHAT TUESDAYS at THE NOVO in DTLA without a cake and some sweet by SUGAR RUSH cakes by IISHA. She has been baking for all of my shows for celebrations and it's the cherry on top for a PHAT TUESDAYS celebration.
