You have to have thick skin, be brave and CRAZY to let people ROAST you and. GUY TORRY is ALL THREE. For his 50th Birthday, he wanted roast. Roast is exactly what they did. He had friends, celebrities, professional atheletes and yes even family talk shit about him. Some went over board and cost Guy some production deals and almost the Phat Tuesdays documentary, but it was still fun. A roast is a chance to see just what people really think about you. You give them a mic and some alcohol, and their feeling will do the rest. It's hard to not take some of the insults personal, but you have to let it roll off of you like water on a duck's back.
